looks like he's playing that Speak Out boardgame
donald is great! but daffy'S look reminds me of those weird first years of the looney tunes. too much squash and stretch
and what's wrong with daffy's feet in the first panel? looks like his whole body is facing Donald, except for his legs
um. very excellent job, nevertheless :)
It's his head turning around to face Donald, since he's been beaned in the butt by a baseball from behind - his whole body is facing away but his neck's twisted around to yell in the opposite direction.
Visually speaking I was always more keen on the 40's period of Looney Tunes where characters had extreme foreshortening as they acted out, like Falling Hare or Tortoise Wins By A Hare. That's just a personal preference thing though since we didn't see those on TV or video as often, compared to the more 'restrained' cartoons like the hunting cartoons or The Ducksters or Drip Along Daffy [all personal favourites in their own right]. But the older style has had something of a revival with the recent LTC [Looney Tune Cartoons] series on HBO Max.
all the yes!!!
